Privacy Policy for CARINA

CARINA is a 360° media viewing app by VELA Studios (a Go Virtual UK company).

Summary

Short version: CARINA does not collect personal user information. The only automated information we see is aggregated app traffic available through the Google Play Console. We do not share information with external parties. CARINA is a media player — we do not control or take responsibility for the content users choose to open with the app.

1. Information we collect

No user information collected: We do not collect, store, or process any personal information about you (for example: name, email address, phone number, location, payment information, photos or media uploaded by you, or other identifiers).

App traffic & Play Console data: The only data we observe is the anonymous/app-level traffic and performance metrics that Google Play Console provides to the developer. This data is controlled by Google and reported to us via the Play Console dashboard; it is limited to aggregated install/usage metrics, crash reports and performance analytics as surfaced by Google Play. We do not combine Play Console data with any personally-identifying information.

2. How we use information

Because we do not collect personal user data, there is no personal data processing carried out by VELA Studios in relation to CARINA. Play Console metrics are used only to monitor app performance, stability, and usage trends so we can maintain and improve the app.

3. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal user information because we do not hold any. The only information accessed by us is Play Console data described above. We do not disclose user-level personal data to external parties. In exceptional cases (for example, if required by law or valid legal process) we may respond to lawful requests from public authorities — however, because we do not hold personal user information, our ability to disclose user-identifying data is limited.

4. Content & liability

CARINA functions as a media player to open and display 360° media files the user selects. We are not the publisher or originator of user-provided media files. You are responsible for the content you open, view, or share using CARINA. VELA Studios disclaims responsibility for any content accessed through the app and is not liable for its legality, accuracy, or appropriateness.

5. Children

CARINA is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take steps to delete any such information we may inadvertently have.

6. Data retention

Because CARINA does not collect personal user information, we do not retain personal user data. Play Console aggregated metrics and crash reports are retained and managed under Google’s policies and controls available through your Google Play Console account.

7. Third-party services

CARINA relies on the Google Play infrastructure for distribution and reporting. Any data made available to us via Google Play Console is subject to Google’s terms and privacy controls. The app does not intentionally integrate other third-party analytics or advertising SDKs that collect user personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any changes will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
